OSTEOPATHY
Osteopaths are practitioners of manual therapy, who have experience in examining, treating, diagnosing, managing, and preventing musculoskeletal disorders with physical treatment.
An osteopath focuses on your whole body during a treatment. Osteopaths believe that the structure of your body influences its function, and vice versa. Therefore, if there was a dysfunction to one area of your body, it can affect other regions of the body.
Osteopaths approach is hands on treatment to treat holistically and globally, to make a positive change to your body as a whole, not just the isolated, painful area. This is to assist the self-healing and regulatory mechanism each of us possess, so the body can in turn heal itself.
